How the engine got there
This is the statement where arithmetic does most of the work, and it is worth doing in the open. Our sealed TEC-05 / CAL-14 puts 55% on the industry shipping 50,000 humanoid units worldwide in calendar 2026. Take that as the base and grant an aggressive sustained tripling every year — faster than almost any hardware category has ever compounded, and far faster than electric vehicles managed in their steepest phase. The series runs 50,000 in 2026; 150,000 in 2027; 450,000 in 2028; 1.35 million in 2029; 4.05 million in 2030; 12.15 million in 2031. Cumulative across those six years is roughly 18 million units. The statement asks for at least 100 million — more than five times that, on a growth rate already assumed to be historically extreme. To reach 100 million cumulative by 2031 the industry would need to compound at roughly 4.5× annually every year from a standing start, with 2031 alone producing on the order of 60 million units. For scale, global light-vehicle production runs near 90 million units a year across an industry built over a century with mature supply chains. The physical constraints are specific rather than vague: actuators, harmonic drives, rare-earth magnets and high-density cells draw on the same inputs the EV industry already competes for, and none of those supply chains scale on software timescales. Direction is not in dispute here — our own 55% seal makes this house relatively bullish on humanoids as a category. The disagreement is a factor of roughly five on volume at a fixed date.

CORRECT if, on or before 2031-12-31, cumulative humanoid robots produced worldwide reach at least 100 million units, per published tallies from IDC, TrendForce, Omdia or an equivalent industry tracker.
